Ask the right questions

In life we must understand that the questions we ask determines the responses we get.
For a very long time, I used to ask questions that didn’t empower me. However the learning started to come when I started asking the questions that opened up the floodgates of knowledge.
When going through a painful patch, if you ask the question, why me? You probably wouldn’t get any empowering answer and you WILL miss out on all the juice of the learning you ought to have taken from the experience.
On the other hand when you ask questions like, what am I supposed to take from this? Who am I supposed to become as a result of this situation? How do I improve myself by virtue of this pain or test?
Then and only then would you be able to get past the fog and make a path towards healing.
Things don’t happen to us. They happen FOR us.
People would treat you in a certain way for as long as you ALLOW them treat you that way.
Quit letting people walk all over you because of whatever mistakes you made in the past. They have their own imperfections too.
People just have a way with transferring their insecurities on unsuspecting people who are suffering as well.
Beneath every toxic or controlling behavior is a person hurting deeply who would rather hurt others than admit they need help.
So, stop accepting bad behavior by setting BOUNDARIES. Everyone is worthy of love and respect especially YOU
